Instructional Focus

Meyonohk students will improve the quality of their reading comprehension, in all subject areas and all languages of study, through the schoolwide use of best teaching and learning practices.

Programs and Organization

Meyonohk School provides Regular K-6 English Core programming and Chinese_Bilingual_K-6_programming.  We have a specialist teacher providing music instruction to all students, a strong library program with a teacher-librarian.  Beginning in grade four, we provide French as a Second Language to children in our regular program. 

School Community Profile

Meyonohk School is located in the Lakewood district in the southwest area of Millwoods. The school serves the students of the Meyonohk neighbourhood and is designated as the south side district site for the Chinese Bilingual Program. The Chinese Bilingual program is the larger of the two programs, with 60% of our student population.
